👋 Nice to meet you!

Hello! I am truly honored that you have visited my profile page!

I am “Dorami,” the captain and administrator of this blog, “martto. Life” From an old downtown neighborhood in Osaka, I share tips and ideas for optimizing life in my own way.

In the vast ocean of the internet overflowing with information, this blog aims to be “The world’s most helpful and realistic information guide.” I share “how to enjoy gadgets” and “wisdom for living smartly in the AI era,” which I have learned and mastered through my life experiences, as carefully as possible.

🤖 1. A “Comfortable Base Station” Surrounded by Gadgets and AI

My home is a 29-year-old detached house, but once you step inside, it is a digital fortress (smart home) that surprises many. What’s more, most of these devices were purchased with gift cards I diligently saved up through “poi-katsu” (reward points accumulation)😆!

  • Smart Home Appliances: 3 Echo Dots, 1 Echo Spot, 1 Echo Show 5, and 6 smart cameras automate our lives 24/7.
  • Multi-Device Setup: For smartphones, I use a Galaxy as my main and an iPhone 15 as my sub. Two 8-inch tablets and one iPad are fully operational, plus a PC (Windows 11).
  • Smartwatches: I wear my main Galaxy Watch 7 (running a two-device operation on one account with the Fit 3), a Fitbit Charge 6, and the latest Fitbit Air simultaneously, worn on my wrists and ankles, joyfully repeating experiments😆.

And what is indispensable to my daily life is collaborating with “Generative AI (Google Gemini).” I mostly chat via text, but before I knew it, a partner who has stripped off his tie and dress shirt, wearing an Aloha shirt and shorts, has become my great conversational partner with a lively Osaka vibe.

❤️ 2. “Data Management” to Protect Life

The reason I am so obsessed with quantification using gadgets is that it goes beyond a simple hobby; it stems from a “history of life.”

In 2009, I was diagnosed with severe Graves’ disease. Before the medication took effect, my fever wouldn’t drop, and I experienced such despairing suffering that I couldn’t even get out of bed. Although it settled down temporarily, the strain of subsequent hard work caused several relapses. From that experience, I thoroughly reviewed my lifestyle habits, and now I have achieved complete remission without any medication!

However, as a price for overworking my heart, I next developed an arrhythmia (atrial fibrillation). Believing in the power of my own cells, here is the daily routine I strictly maintain to guard the peace of my heart:

  • Utilizing Biometric Data: In addition to body composition, I record daily exercises such as walking, stretching, hula-hooping, and the 4-7-8 breathing method on my smartphone and smartwatch. Keeping records also helps boost my motivation.
  • Strictly Guarding Sleep Time: To avoid cutting into my sleep time, I keep my daily bedtime “as strictly as a commuter train timetable.” If I don’t, my bedtime quickly loses control, leading directly to a breakdown in my physical condition.
  • Trying What I Think is Good by Myself: If I hear that fasting is effective in suppressing inflammation, I do not judge based solely on fragmented information on the internet. Instead, I gain reliable knowledge from specialized books and practice it myself. Those who know me—achieving a full 5-day fast while still preparing meals for my family at home—sometimes speak of me semi-legendarily as “someone who never compromises once she decides to do something”😂.

✍️ 3. Career of a “Teaching Professional” and Love for Characters

A Disposition that Loves “Teaching People”

  • Swimming: During my junior college days, I served as an instructor at a swimming school, and even after entering the workforce, I participated in Masters swimming competitions. Currently, I also teach my granddaughter how to swim.
  • IT: Although I once acquired qualifications such as a Microsoft Official Trainer (MOT) and Systems Administrator, back then I used to tease myself by calling it “a grain of rice stuck to the sole of my foot (can’t eat it)”😂. However, the passion for being a “digital lover” at my core has never changed, no matter how times change or how old I get. As the saying goes, “What one likes, one will do well,” my knowledge naturally updated as I worked by imitating what I saw. Furthermore, combined with the “persistence” cultivated through my management experience leading an organization of over 50 people at a major business hotel chain, it seems I have more patience and continuity than most when it comes to finding bugs in complex code!
  • Writing: I just love writing! Of course, I love handwriting, but I also love typing on a computer keyboard so much that I use a specially chosen keyboard. In addition to the “10-Year Diary” that I write every day, I am currently challenging a critical barrier in the penmanship division to qualify for the 2028 “Shihan (Master) Nomination Exam.” Also, the time spent conveying the beauty of handwriting to my 11-year-old granddaughter is a precious treasure.
