📅 [This Week’s Averages] Overall Data Comparison (2026-06-01 – 2026-06-04)
* The Fitbit team on my right wrist is picking up pretty much the same data on average, even though there are some slight differences!
| Metric (Daily Average) | 🏆 Galaxy Watch 7 (Left Wrist) |
🟢 Fitbit Charge 6 (Right Wrist – Simultaneous) |
🤖 Fitbit Air (Right Wrist – Simultaneous) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Total Daily Steps | 9,195 steps | 9,852 steps | 9,536 steps |
| Total Daily Calories Burned | 1,726 kcal | 1,813 kcal | 1,863 kcal |
| Resting Heart Rate (RHR) | 90 bpm | 73 bpm | 75 bpm |
📅 [Sleep & Walking] Average Data Comparison (2026-06-01 – 2026-06-05)
The sleep score for the Air (connected to an iPhone 15) doesn’t finally show up until the next day, or sometimes even the day after that. Take this morning, for example—the sleep score says “None,” yet the Energy Score is showing “55.” I can’t help but think, “Seriously, you’d better get that Energy Score out in the morning before people start losing their patience!” I mean, is that just me? 😆
| Metric | 🏆 Galaxy Watch 7 (Left Wrist) |

🤖 Fitbit Air (Right Wrist – Simultaneous) |

📝 Today’s Wrap-up (2026-06-05)
I seriously just want to tear these trackers off my right wrist and be free already! LOL! ヾ(≧▽≦)ノ
That is pretty much my only takeaway at this point. I mean, the discomfort is just unreal. 😑
This is definitely not an experiment you want to be doing in the middle of summer.
To at least keep my left arm free—since it doesn’t affect this experiment—I’ve actually been moving my main device, the Galaxy Watch 7, over to my left ankle while I’m sitting down and working. 😆
I’m planning to switch things around based on Sunday night,
and next, I’m thinking about putting the two right-wrist devices on my right and left ankles instead! Haha.
If you were to ask me, “Just because it’s light and thin, does that mean you can keep it on your wrist forever?”
My answer would be a flat “NO!”
Why? Because both the Air and the Charge 6 have absolutely ZERO “spark factor”!
I am strictly tolerating them on my skin just to get my own data.
On the flip side, why can I keep the Galaxy Watch 7 on, even though it’s heavier and chunkier?
It’s simply because it actually has that spark factor! That’s all there is to it.
Recording workouts is a breeze, reviewing data in the app is seamless, and every single feature inside the app is completely free to use!
Plus, it just looks beautiful, and the replacement bands are so brilliant that you can swap them off and on in a split second, making it incredibly comfortable. Being able to wash your hands easily is a huge deal!
I’ve been interacting with the AI coach included in Google Health Premium from time to time, but since Gemini is already right there on my smartphone, it gets annoying having to talk to this AI over here and that AI over there, so I just stopped talking to it altogether.
Besides, maybe because it’s given the specific role of a “coach,” it’s hard to strike up a conversation about anything outside of Google Health. It doesn’t exactly make me want to customize it or try to become better friends with it.
And the biggest reason of all is that the subscription fee is just too expensive!
While Gemini can be used for free, this one costs 1,580 yen (approx. $10) a month.
If you are subscribed to the “Google AI Pro” or “Google AI Ultra” plans, you can use the AI coach without any extra charges, but honestly, would you actually use it?
When I think about all that, I can’t help but feel, “Once the free trial ends, I’m not going to use this AI coach anyway, so why bother diving into deep questions or trying to get close to it now?” Am I the only one who thinks this way lately?
Now, the battery life on the Air is great. But then again, that’s a given. It doesn’t have a screen, it doesn’t have GPS, and it doesn’t even receive notifications! After 3 days, it’s only gone from 100% down to 79%.
